Penn Station Athlete of the Month for April, 2018 – Cody Bybee

Congratulations to Cody Bybee from Bellbrook High School, the Penn Station Athlete of the Month for April, 2018!  Cody is the son of Dawn and Rusty Bybee and has a brother, Cameron.

Cody, an accomplished swimmer, carries a 3.6 GPA and cites Caeleb Dressel as his role model and Michael Phelps and Lebron James as his sports role models.

According to Cody, his greatest achievement so far is “winning a gold medal and breaking a junior world record at Junior World Championships as part of team U.S.A.”  After high school, Cody plans to continue swimming and studying at Arizona State University.

Cody’s Principal, Chris Baker, says “Cody is an outstanding young man who has achieved greatly and has a truly promising future ahead of him.  Penn Station could not have picked a better athlete of the month!”

Rob Johnson, Swim Coach noted “Cody is the most driven athlete I have ever met.  Beginning with his freshman year, I could see how committed he was to being the best he could be, and that drive has paid off.  We could always rely on Cody for an outstanding swim and his six individual state championships, including state records, demonstrate that.  He will be greatly missed and not just because of his swimming ability, just a great young man all around!”

Cody’s favorite sandwich at Penn Station in Kettering is the Chicken Parmesan.

We congratulate you, Cody on being the Penn Station Athlete of the Month for April, 2018!
