Penn Station Athlete of the Month for November, 2018 – Isabelle Crow
Congratulations to Isabelle Crow from Tippecanoe High School in Tipp City, the Penn Station Athlete of the Month for November, 2018!
Isabelle’s sport is volleyball and she carries a 4.1 GPA. She is also involved in the Varsity T Club, Interact Club, Octagon Club, World Languages Club, Volunteer for various organizations, and is a member of Elite Volleyball Training Center, National Team, Plain City, Ohio.
Isabelle noted her coach, Jamie Voisard, is her role model and her sports role model is Kerry Walsh Jennings. Her favorite book is Snow Like Ashes. Her greatest achievement so far is making All GWOC in her Junior year.
Isabelle said “When I was little, I did the little kids camp and really enjoyed playing volleyball. It has helped me learn time management – between practices, games and homework.” She plans on going to college for chemical engineering and continuing her volleyball career at the next level.
Principal Steve Verhoff said: “Isabelle excels on the court and in the classroom. She is a positive citizen and leader in the community. Isabelle displays a high degree of intelligence, integrity, and responsibility. She always exhibits a positive attitude in and out of the classroom and has a loyalty to her teammates, school and community.”
Athletic Director JD Foust added: “Isabelle is a model of what a student-athlete should aspire to be. Season by season, she has improved her game, has had great success in the classroom, and shows great leadership every day.”
Isabelle is the daughter of Robyn and Brad Crow and a sister to Grace. Her favorite Penn Station sandwich is the cold Italian at the Troy Penn Station.
